Easter holiday activities for families across Gloucestershire

Up until April 12, Cattle Country Farm Park is offering a range of spring activities.

As part of the Easter farm attractions, visitors can hunt for golden eggs, cuddle newborn lambs and meet the Easter Bunny.

The golden egg hunt will see eggs hidden throughout the farm, with prizes for those who find them.

In the animal barn, the smallest animals, including chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs, can all be petted.

Daily sessions allow visitors to gently feed and brush the animals.

Animal feed can be purchased from the gift shop for those wishing to venture onto the farm trail to meet sheep, goats, alpacas and more.

A tractor ride will also be available to see the farm’s rare-breed cattle herd.

A particular highlight is the opportunity to hand-feed and photograph the farm’s ‘fluffy new arrivals’, as part of the Lamb Playtime activities.

Lamb Playtime is bookable as an additional activity when purchasing Farm Park tickets.

For those looking for water-based activities, the West Country Water Park in Bradley Stoke is an option.

The site offers a wide range of activities for water enthusiasts, including paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming.

The Lake at Cromhall Quarry, South Gloucestershire offers diving, swimming, or paddleboarding.

The water park caters to both experienced divers seeking underwater adventures and swimmers looking for an invigorating open water experience.

Visit the Cattle Country, West Country Water Park, and The Lake websites for details.
