Due to considerable public demand following previous events, and with the kind permission of the Imjin Barracks Command Group, Chase Lane Fireworks are delighted to announce that, for the first time in many years, our annual fireworks display will be open to the public.
There will be 2 fabulous displays on offer – an earlier child-friendly display (non-musical) and a bigger louder display set to a fantastic music track to cap off a fantastic evening’s entertainment.
The first show will fire at 6pm with the main display firing at 7pm.
Funfair thrills will be provided by Angus Pedrick which will include rides for young and old, games and Angus’s usual attractions that he brings to support Chase Lane events.
Catering will be provided by ESS Caterers courtesy of Imjin Barracks.
Music throughout the evening will be provided, as ever, by Matt from Major Entertainments who will play all your favourite seasonal sounds to keep the atmosphere buzzing.
This is a family-friendly event. We must stress that the main fireworks event will be loud and therefore may not be suitable for the very young or for those who may suffer from illnesses or syndromes that could be affected by loud and sudden noises (learning difficulties/autism/PTSD etc). The earlier show for our younger guests is suitable for all.
***PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING NOTICE REGARDING TRAVEL AND PARKING***
Yellow “No Parking” traffic cones will be deployed along both sides of Innsworth Lane between the roundabouts at each end of Imjin Barracks. The road accessing the sports pitches from Innsworth Lane will be closed off to all vehicles except residents in the Imjin Barracks MQA (on production of a unit vehicle pass) and vehicles displaying a valid disabled blue badge. Access will be controlled by event staff in conjunction with Imjin Barracks security personnel. Drivers unable to produce either document detailed above will be turned away. Similarly, the car park at the Costcutters shop will be coned off. It is recommended that visitors use the 97/98 bus to access the event. There are bus stops right outside the camp main gates. It is still the case that any single journey on a Stagecoach bus costs only £2.00 per single journey – tremendous value and well worth using. Finally, please look after yourselves and your children. This will be a fantastic evening, but it will be a very busy event! Keep your children supervised and attended at all times. Be safe; have fun; smile lots 🙂
