Improvised Shakespeare at the historic Blackfriars Priory

14 July @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Shakespeare hasn’t written anything new for an age, so we thought we would give him a hand… Using your audience suggestions and our overactive imaginations, we create a brand-new Shakespeare play live on stage, complete with live music, songs and plenty of laughs.

Pick your authentic Shakespearean genre: Epic History, Romantic Comedy, or Gruesome Tragedy! Pen your wittiest Shakespearean line for our brave actors to pull from their suitably-Shakespearean breeches when they need a helping hand – the twist? They’ll have no idea what the line will be before they say it!

Join ShakeItUp for Bard-Based Bedlam!

“Brilliantly bonkers… one of the best improvised shows out there.” (West End Best Friend – Five Stars)

“Quick witted, inexhaustible and absolutely hysterical.” (London Theatre Reviews – Five Stars)

“Laugh out-loud hilarious…a great night out” (Broadway World – Four Stars)

“Rip-roaring time…comedy gold!” (North West End – Four Stars)

“The Bard himself would have loved its joyful exuberance” (Theatre & Tonic – Four Stars)

The show will take place in Blackfriars Priory’s iconic North Range.

A bar will be open selling a range of hot and cold drinks and light snacks.
