Offering an acclaimed musical line-up and cracking food and drink, the Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival returns to Café René in 2019. And we can’t wait.
Back for its 17th year, Café René is celebrating Gloucester’s Rhythm and Blues Festival with seven days of music from local, national and international talent, plus cracking food and drink.
Taking place between Monday 29 July and Sunday 4 August 2019, 20 of the biggest and best rhythm and blues artists will be playing the live music venue’s outdoor stage in the heart of Gloucester.
Café René’s Real Ale and Cider Festival will be taking place simultaneously, with alfresco bars and food from the outdoor barbecue and hog roast too.
Performances throughout the week include The Lewis Creaven Band, Keith Thompson and Storm Warning.
Hired Guns and Wille and the Bandits will be taking to the Greyfriars Stage on Friday 2 August 2019.
Saturday 3 August 2019’s line-up includes The Achievers, Vincent Flatts Final Drive and the Stevie Nimmo Trio. Whilst Sunday 4 August 2019 features names such as The Troy Redfern Band, The Worried Men and Grainne Duffy.
A highlight of Gloucestershire’s summer music festival calendar, the week-long celebration of rhythm and blues takes place in and around Café Rene, promising an electric atmosphere in Gloucester.
